Finally Finished--The Tattoo Quilt! from A Prim and (not so) Proper Quilter

Even I still can't believe it's done, and it's been almost a year since it was completed.


Patti, my former supervisor, is also my friend. Before she was my supervisor, she was a co-worker in our agency and we made each other laugh a lot--that was a necessary skill set. She finally made the decision to retire and did so mid-2025. We worked together for over 20 years and propped each other up through the years.

Finally Finished - A Bit Askew - and some Christmas sewing from A Prim and (not so) Proper Quilter

 I took this one out of the bin in March and thought…no. It went back in the bin.

And just like that, it was 3 months later and the deadline for it was less than a week away. Funny how that works out.

So almost 3 months ago I got the top on the design wall and thought, that’s not so bad:

Moving right along—transitions; life and studio from A Prim and (not so) Proper Quilter

There are many reasons why I only had 3 blog posts last year. I posted a few times on Instagram, but not much more than here. 

Even without the pandemic, life took some crazy turns for us in 2020. Hubs and I made decisions regarding our future, and I had to make some decisions regarding my work life. 

Due to work life, school took a back seat. I dropped the classes I had enrolled in that would have started mid-January 2020; the workload ramped up that same week. Over a year later, I’m working from home 11-12 hours per ...
